Overview

Counterintelligence Automated Tactical Exploitation & Information Software (CATEIS)

CATEIS provides the analyst with a complete system of CI/HUMINT Tools:

  • Standard Forms/Report: The system provides templates for standard CI/HUMINT forms. Using the Entity Extraction Tool, the key information for individuals, events and organizations can be saved to the Integrated Database (IDB) database for analysis. The IDB also contains processing and storage for Units, Equipment and Facilities. Relationships are created through a simple drag-and-drop interface.
  • Customizable User Portal: The web-based user portal provides for easy case management and quick access to the analysis tools. Users can easily add reports, imagery, database entities, map overlays or other data to case files and organize documents in case folders.
  • Integrated Visualization: Link analysis, time wheel, association matrix, event timeline and histogram tools are integrated into the system. All products are created automatically from the database - no manually steps are necessary to build the products.
  • Integrated Mapping: Plot selected entities from the database to the map. The map supports import of CADRG, ADRG, DTED and CIB. Customizable Gazetteer provided to plot NIMA as well as user-defined points of interest. Map supports custom symbology, Named Area of Interest (NAI) integration, overlay import/export to different systems.
  • Interoperability/Messaging: BAT import, USMTF messaging/parsing, C2PC map overlay exchange, import and export from ASAS-L systems, IAS interoperability. Integrated Database (IDB): Supports individuals, organizations, events, places, facilities, units and equipment. Interoperable with other tactical databases.
  • CI/HUMINT Peripheral interfaces: Supports day and night imagery. Supports day and night imagery, audio, and communications via PRC-117, VIASAT, cameras, and fingerprint scanner, printers.
